SMALL GARDEN, LARGE OUTPUT :: 2018 STATS

Our garden is spread out throughout the yard. It’s in raised beds, in pots, in vertical gutter gardens. If we could put a plant in it, we do. While we were out measuring the new space, we also eyed and estimated how much of our yard we used for growing last year. We estimate, if everything were brought together, it’d be a simple ⭐️300 square feet-ish⭐️. Pretty small, but good size to start out. Dare I say, a little large to start out, now that we’ve walked it?

Anyway. We went back to all our little notes put into spreadsheet and totaled ✨504 pounds✨ of responsibly grown, nutrient dense food made it out of our garden and into the hands of those in need last year. In 300 little square feet! 504lbs! 🙌🏻

Some weeks it feels like we aren’t hardly getting anywhere, but when it’s all added up, we are pretty blown away by 2018.

Wait until y’all hear the numbers by plant. It’s crazy-town. That’s next.
